Mayraमायरा

The Maternal Blessing of Abundance

Why this happens

Mayra is one of the most emotional ceremonies in a Rajasthani wedding. Traditionally, the maternal family arrives with gifts, blessings, clothes, jewellery and ceremonial offerings.

It is a gesture of love from the maternal side, a way of saying: you go into this new chapter with our blessings, our pride and our abundance. Mayra is not only about gifts. It is about presence, family honour and the emotional role of the maternal home in a wedding.

The decor mood

The Mayra continues the language of tradition with warmth and familial grandeur: a setting that feels ceremonial, joyful and personal, with traditional florals, soft folk details, graceful seating and a palette that keeps the morning elegant while allowing the emotion of the ritual to lead.
